                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO ZONE AREA 5, SOUTH WAUHATCHIE PIKE
                   ANNEXATION AREA, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   BIRMINGHAM HIGHWAY NORTHEAST OF THE
                   TENNESSEE-GEORGIA STATE LINE, FOR MAP 165,
                   PARCELS 9, 10.1, 10.2, 12, 13 TO M-1; MAP 166,
                   PARCEL 5 TO M-1; MAP 165, PARCEL 8 TO R-1,
                   EXCEPT R-5 TO R-5; MAP 165, PARCEL 11 TO R-1;
                   AND MAP 153, PARCEL 18 TO R-1.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to zone:
               
                Area 5, South Wauhatchie Pike Annexation Area,
                being on the southwest line of Birmingham Highway
                northeast of the Tennessee-Georgia State Line.  An
                unplatted tract, being the properties described in
                Chattanooga City Ordinance No. 10187.  Tax Map No.
                153-28.1, 165-8 (part), 9, 10.1, 10.2, 11, 12, and
                13 and 166-5.
               
               
         for Map 165, Parcels 9, 10.1, 10.2, 12, 13 to M-1; Map 166, 
Parcel
         5 to M-1; Map 165, Parcel 8 to R-1, except R-5 to R-5; Map 165, 

         Parcel 11 to R-1; and Map 153, Parcel 18 to R-1.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
